The social-philosophical salon brings together all social disciplines, including philosophy, for joint exchange and discussion and welcomes interested parties and guests from other faculties.
All students, lecturers and other interested parties are therefore cordially invited to this year's Winter Salon.
Ethics in social work by and with ChatGPT
For this Salon, the organizers have "invited" ChatGPT itself to give a lecture. The talk is entitled "The significance and ethical issues of using ChatGPT in social work".
ChatGPT has prepared the following abstract:
In this talk, we explore the meaning and ethical issues arising from the use of ChatGPT in social work. ChatGPT, an advanced language model, offers new opportunities to support and enhance social services by assisting with communication, information discovery and even emotional support. But these technologies raise key ethical issues, particularly around privacy, accountability and the impact on human interactions. This presentation will highlight these issues and offer guidelines for the ethical use of ChatGPT to maintain the integrity of social work while taking advantage of technological innovation.
Discussion and exchange welcome
After the presentation, there will be an opportunity for discussion with ChatGPT and, above all, for a joint discussion on the use of ChatGPT in social work.
