The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (part-time) is an interdisciplinary course that combines technical, business and communication elements and at the same time offers a challenging, practice-oriented engineering education. Mechanical engineering is the backbone of industrial production; production management organizes production and industrial service for production facilities. Technical and business knowledge and skills are therefore equally in demand.

The basic course content includes mathematics, natural sciences, production and automation technology, business administration, controlling, law and management skills. This content is supplemented by key qualifications such as communication skills, time and work planning, conflict management and presentation techniques.

Thanks to the combination of classroom teaching, self-study and on-the-job training, graduates of a combined degree program are particularly well placed to acquire and apply knowledge from different sources independently.

The face-to-face courses take place every 14 days on Saturdays and on two Fridays. The final module examinations are held on two Saturdays at the end of the semester.

After successfully completing the program, you will receive a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree.
