Doctoral program at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts
Fachhochschule Dortmund supports doctoral candidates and their research projects at all levels. Every year, a doctoral scholarship is advertised for which particularly good graduates can apply with their doctoral supervising professors at Fachhochschule Dortmund.

- The prerequisite for a successful application is the cooperative structure of the doctoral project. This means that the doctoral supervision is provided by a professor from Fachhochschule Dortmund as well as a professor from a cooperating university.
- The duration of a position/scholarship can be up to four and a half years.
- A jury of academics will decide on the awarding of funding.
