IT Business & Software Management, Integrated Professional Practice

The study program is franchised by the Fachhochschule Dortmund. This means that the degrees are awarded by Fachhochschule Dortmund and you are also a FH student throughout your studies. However, the ITC organizes the course in small teaching groups and has lecturers from Business Studies with state-of-the-art teaching methods. The feedback from partner companies, which also finance the students' studies, helps the ITC to obtain the necessary practical input and topicality for the course.

Students at the IT Center are also enrolled at the Fachhochschule Dortmund and can use the resources available there, such as the library of the Faculty of Computer Science.

Prerequisites for admission to the course are

• Completion of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree course in Computer Science at a university or completion of a corresponding accredited Bachelor's degree course at a university of cooperative education with an overall grade of at least "satisfactory" (3.0).
• Completion of a Bachelor's degree program with a significant proximity to the Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science at a university or completion of a corresponding accredited Bachelor's degree program at a university of cooperative education with an overall grade of at least "satisfactory" (3.0). A commission appointed by the faculty council decides on the relevance of the study program.

A Bachelor's degree must comprise at least 180 ECTS points. Of these, at least 15 ECTS points from mathematics are required.
