Anforderungen und Erprobung digitaler Beteiligungsmöglichkeiten für Jugendliche in der stationären Jugendhilfe

Fast facts

About the project

As part of a project commissioned by Diakonie RWL, the Fachhochschule Dortmund is presenting practical research and development on the basis of which the children's rights app "Justy" can be developed, which is oriented towards the life situations and interests of young people in inpatient youth welfare and involves professionals from the field of work in its realization.

Aims of the project

  • to present findings on subjective attributions of rights and possibilities for complaints that take into account both the perspective of the addressees themselves (young people) and the perspective of professionals from residential youth care.
  • Describe the requirements for an app that functions interactively between young people and also between young people and professionals as an additional driver of communication and promotes both individual participation and participation in a group context.
  • To develop information on the content of a children's rights app that improves cooperation and the use of complaints offices and actively involves professionals and young people in the design.
