Development of qualification modules for person-centered networks in the community
"I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be stuffed. I want the cultures of all lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible. But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any." -Mahatma Gandhi
Circles of Support and Community Inclusion
People in disadvantaged situations are marginalized or at risk of exclusion from their communities and neighbourhoods in both India and the European Union. Although the manifestations of these tensions are very different in the European Union and India, there is a search for ways to include and participate in communities in both regions. This is part of a transnational movement under the key concept of inclusion: inclusion understood as social inclusion and participation without segregation of people with different abilities and different support needs.
