Visit of a group of students in the Faculty of Information Technology
On November 15, 2023, interested students from level Q1 of the Steinbart-Gymnasium in Duisburg spent a morning at the Faculty of Information Technology. After getting to know each other, the students were introduced to the faculty's study programs. They then visited some of the faculty's laboratories. Scientific staff used exhibits and examples to present the topics of artificial intelligence in the smart home sector, intelligent mobility, augmented and virtual reality, sensor technology and AI in minimally invasive surgery, and camera-based vital data acquisition. There was a good exchange and all participants enjoyed the visit very much.
