Dortmund International Spring School 2022
Over the course of 5 days, around 100 participants from Fachhochschule Dortmund and partner universities dealt with the topics of Signals & Systems for Automated Driving, Usability Engineering, Multi-project Management and Organization as well as Smart Home & Smart Building & Smart Cities.
We spoke to some of the students and here is what they told us.
Mahadi Hasan, participant of the Usability Engineering Stream:
"We explored the campus from the outside and inside to find out how accessible it is for people with disabilities. Our task was to identify potential problems and make suggestions for improvement. We then did the same in Dortmund's U-Tower, but in a slightly different way. We examined the floors there, noted what we felt as visitors and collected data for improvements in terms of design."
Aleksandra Galiakhmetova, multi-project management and organization:
"During the stream, we learned about the theory of multi-project management and then conducted case studies to see how it can be implemented in practice. We also had a company visit where we could see how successful companies manage their projects. One day we had a guest lecturer from Kaunas who shared his experience with us. The stream was very well organized and gave us a lot of useful insights."
We hope that all participants enjoyed the Dortmund International Spring School 2022.
