Profile
The Laboratory on advanced measurements and biomedical data analysis (LAMBDA) works at the interface of modern measurement technology and innovative data processing methods. The laboratory has extensive measurement capabilities (e.g. ECG, respiration, continuous blood pressure, EEG, EOG, activity), has extensive experience in conducting subject studies under physical and/or cognitive stress and has wide-ranging expertise in the processing of biomedical data.
Equipment
LAMBDA has state-of-the-art measurement technology and extensive experimental possibilities. The measurement technology includes
- conventional medical sensor technology (electrocardiography, respiration, activity, photoplethysmography, phonocardiography, electroencephalography, pressure measurement technology,...)
- Continuous non-invasive blood pressure measurement technology
- Laser speckle contrast analysis
- Camera technology (high-quality industrial cameras, own routines for control and data analysis)
In addition to the metrological systems, various systems/methods for stimulation are available, including a tilt table, devices for cold stimulation and options for carrying out cognitive tests.
Service & Offer
Student collaboration
Students are actively involved in LAMBDA.
Collaboration is possible as part of project work, Bachelor's and/or Master's theses and as a student or research assistant. Interested parties can contact us at any time by phone or email to arrange an appointment and discuss current opportunities.
