Profile
The photo workshop is the faculty's largest technical facility. It is divided into two departments: Facilities for the production of photographic images and facilities for image reproduction, image processing and presentation.
The photo workshop offers a total of 26 workstations, which can be used by students in up to 56 work shifts per day. There is also an equipment rental service and a laminating workshop for exhibitions.
The photo workshop team supports students in artistic, scientific and technical matters. In addition to organization, it mainly provides comprehensive support.
Service & Offer
Photo studio
Information and equipment
The most important production facility is the large 300 square meter studio with seven parallel recording stations. It offers the possibility of varying all the individual areas into larger recording areas. This rational solution guarantees the ability to react quickly to the changing demands arising from the tasks set. A free-standing cove with a surface area of 90 square meters and corner retraction enables large set-ups for object, advertising and people photography. A radio-controlled large-area light and make-up stations complete this shooting area.
With over 40,000 joules, one of the most modern flash systems in the country is available. The computer-aided recording stations have been modernized in recent years to meet the special requirements of digital recording systems. The in-house WIFI is available in the studio. All recording areas are network-integrated.

Laminating workshop - production for exhibitions
The Faculty of Design is represented at numerous photo festivals every year, presenting exciting and socially relevant work. Group exhibitions are organized through seminars and students have the opportunity to show their own work in solo exhibitions.
In addition to high-quality printing, we offer various options for presenting images in our laminating workshop.
The mounting machine for cold processing and the hot mounting press enable the lamination of photos and graphics on various carrier materials. In addition to plastic and hard foam materials, aluminum composite panels can also be used.
