Declaration on accessibility

We aim to make this website and our digital publications accessible in accordance with EU Directive 2016/2102. We document the implementation status here in accordance with the Ordinance on the Creation of Barrier-Free Information Technology under the North Rhine-Westphalia Disability Equality Act.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is partially compliant with EU Directive 2016/2102.

Methodology of the examination: Self-assessment

  • Creation of the website: 09.06.2020

The self-assessment is carried out by the University IT Department, Content Management Division. The test steps of the BITV test are used for the evaluation. A list of the test steps can be found at bitvtest.de(Opens in a new tab) .

  • Last complete test of all test steps: 01.03.2021

Non-accessible content

The content integrated into the FH website is not yet barrier-free:

  • PDF documents: Due to the large volume, it has not yet been possible to convert them all into an accessible format. They will be successively adapted.
  • Videos: It has not yet been possible to provide audio description throughout. We are working on this.

Barrier-free alternatives:

  • If you require accessible documents for enrollment, please contact the Office for Student Affairs.
  • For accessible examination regulations, please also contact the Office for Student Affairs.
