Our Makerspace is the central place where you can put your projects, ideas and concepts into practice. The latest machines, tools and software for your creativity, innovations and prototyping are available here. Our experienced and competent team will be happy to support you with their expertise.
Workshop, PC pool, co-working room, bicycle workshop and repair café
In addition to our CAD and 3D printing workshops, other events take place here where all members of the UAS can exchange ideas, network and work together on projects.

Workshop for all members of Fachhochschule Dortmund
We recommend our next workshop day for anyone who would like to get to grips with 3D printing technology, experience a 3D printer in action, learn the basics of the software and print their first 3D projects after the workshop.
You are welcome to bring your own laptop or alternatively work with our equipment. If you bring your own laptop, the following minimum system requirements apply: Quad core CPU, 8 GB RAM, 2 GB GPU RAM, 5 GB hard disk space.

Multifunctional meeting space for productive learning and working
24 modular workstations, projector, conference audio and video technology, as well as presentation equipment such as whiteboard, flipchart and metaplan wall.
Bicycle workshop
Caring for, repairing and maintaining your beloved bike
Every Wednesday from 12:00 - 18:00 you can repair and maintain your bike with us. We provide assembly stands, tools and consumables and are of course also on hand with help and advice if you need help with repairs or maintenance.
Our equipment for professional repair, maintenance and care includes

The green alternative to throwing things away, for a sustainable future.
You can present your defective small appliances, small pieces of furniture, children's toys, cell phones, laptops and PCs with accessories and similar items for repair. With our machines and tools, you can even repair your washing machine, dishwasher, dryer and television with us or upcycle your clothes. We are here to help and advise you.
