Formula Student (Race-Ing. Team)

Students work in teams to build a single-seater formula racing car to compete against teams from all over the world. In Formula Student, however, it is not simply the fastest car that wins, but the team with the best overall package of design and racing performance, financial planning and sales arguments. The aim of Formula Student is to supplement the student's studies with intensive experience of design and production as well as the economic aspects of automotive engineering. To determine the best vehicle, a jury of experts from the motorsport, automotive and supplier industries evaluates each design, cost plan and sales presentation in comparison to the competing teams. On the other hand, the students prove on the race track in various disciplines how their self-built cars perform in practice.
