Student residencies now also possible in Switzerland
In winter semester 2018/19, the Faculty of Applied Social Studies signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) - School of Social Work. Since then, it has been possible for students in our faculty to spend a semester abroad in Switzerland. Two places per year are now available for this. Financial support can be granted in the same way as ERASMUS funding programs. The special thing about this university cooperation is that students without foreign language skills can also spend a semester abroad. This does justice to the diversity of the students and offers many opportunities for further cooperation in the future.
Our faculty is constantly striving to expand and extend its network of international partner universities and thus offer students the opportunity to complete part of their studies abroad. For many returnees, this is an unforgettable experience that often has far-reaching consequences - and not just for their future careers.
If you would like to find out about the current opportunities for a stay abroad - not only in the form of a semester abroad - you can find further helpful information on the "International Affairs" page of our FB homepage or contact the International Affairs Officer, Prof. Dr. Michael Boecker.
