Fees for exceeding deadlines
Fees will be charged per medium or locker if deadlines are exceeded.
The charging of fees and the reimbursement of expenses are governed by the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts Library's schedule of fees and charges PDF-File 94,37 kB as amended on June 11, 2015.
The amount of the fees is:
| Exceeding the deadline by up to 10 calendar days | 2 Euro per medium/locker |
| Exceeding the deadline by up to 20 calendar days | 5 euros per medium/locker |
| Exceeding the deadline by up to 30 calendar days | 10 Euro per medium/locker |
| Exceeding the time limit by up to 40 calendar days | 20 Euro per medium/locker |
| Exceeding the time limit for short-term loans | 2 Euro per medium and calendar day |
Additional postal charges apply.

Payment of fees
Payment of overdue fees for media and lockers is possible in the following ways:
- Emil-Figge-Str. 44 location: cash or cashless by GiroCard (both only at the automatic pay station in the entrance area)
- Sonnenstraße location: cashless by GiroCard
- Max-Ophüls-Platz location: cashless by GiroCard
- by bank transfer (only for overdue fees, from 10 euros, account details on request)
Please note: No partial payments can be made at the pay machine at the Emil-Figge-Str. 44 location, only the total amount of fees on your account.
