The library⁺ offers training courses on various topics and for different target groups.
Offer for lecturers: We are happy to provide training for your students as part of your courses. Please contact us with your individual wishes regarding the training content (subject databases, special aspects of research, etc.).

A library tour will give you an initial overview of our premises and services. We offer these informative tours at all three locations. They can also be held in English on request.

- Group size: 5-30 people at the Emil-Figge-Str.44 location,
5-15 people at the Sonnenstraße and Max-Ophüls-Platz locations - Dates: by arrangement

Alternative to a guided tour: online event "Fit for the library"
In cooperation with the Psychological Student Advisory Service, we always present the library virtually at the beginning of the semester. This event gives students or new employees who were unable to take part in an on-site tour an insight into the facilities and services on offer. There will also be enough time for individual questions. Participation is possible without registration. Dates and access data will always be communicated in due course via the Fachhochschule Dortmund calendar(Opens in a new tab) and social media.
