Digitalization is playing an increasingly important role in the construction industry.

The DMA Innovation Lab offers the opportunity to respond even more strongly to these new requirements in teaching and research and to support the development and implementation of innovative projects.

In addition to the existing infrastructure - such as the IT lab - the DMA Innovation Lab expands the range of services with a VR lab, a 3D printing lab and other digital production methods.

IT studio

The Faculty of Architecture's IT studio is used by students to work on projects, improve their skills in using specialist software and for general exchange when working on coursework.

Large format printing (LFP)

The laboratory is equipped with four large-format printers (plotters) and allows students to print plans and posters at cost price. The use of these services is currently only possible to a limited extent.

VR lab

The VR lab provides students with a learning laboratory for virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR).

3D printing lab

The lab is equipped with various 3D printers and allows students to produce their designs using different materials and colors. Use is currently only possible to a limited extent.
